Airtourer Association Fly In 20th - 22nd September

It was full on for Deni Aero Club this weekend, commencing on Friday afternoon with the arrival of the Airtourers throughout the afternoon, on arrival they were welcomed and treated to afternoon tea before heading into town to their accommodation. Saturday morning it was tea and coffee again before heading to Tocumwal for lunch, on arrival back in Deni it was tea and coffee again, some deciding to enjoy a more refreshing beer before heading back into town for their evening dinner.
Sunday morning it was all hands on deck for breakfast, a total of 31 Airtourer people and 25 Deni Aero Club members and visitors all mixing together for a superb breakfast of tomatoes, sausages, bacon and eggs.

A special team effort by our members made sure everything went along smoothly.
After breakfast which seemed to last most of the morning the Airtourers looked as if they had settled in for the day, but after a while they slowly departed one by one in perfect weather conditions.

I must congratulate all our club members that attended the weekend for the hospitality and friendship shown to the Airtourers during their stay. We have had so many favorable comments from the Airtourer people about the way they were treated and made feel so welcome by our members.
